DSI’s automated deception detection technology can aid in uncovering hidden plans to disrupt or harm these systems.
DSI’s Artificial Intelligence combined with data fusion, advanced sensors, and proprietary algorithms have been scientifically proven to detect deception faster and more reliably than any alternative.
Our technology monitors the many deception signals emitted by interviewees during an automated interview. While some can mask a few of their deception signals, no one can mask them all.
Ground Truth
Ground Truth is a scientific term applied where the predictive accuracy of algorithms or processes has been validated through experiments with specifically known outcomes.
Rigorous science anchored in Ground Truth is the underpinning of all of DSI’s solutions for detecting deception.
Results were accumulated from many scientific studies of large study populations. Each study population was composed of 50% hidden deceivers whose goal was to get their deception past the AVATAR.
At the end of each study the effectiveness of the AVATAR deception detection algorithms was determined with absolute certainty: – all of the detected deceivers were specifically identified and all of the deceivers eluding detection were specifically identified.
All false positives and all false negatives were identified and evaluated.
In study after study the AVATAR deception detection algorithms identified 80% to 85% of the deceivers.

An AVATAR can work alone or alongside additional avatars. Each avatar performs in exactly the same way. Increasing the number of avatars means more subjects can be screened. An AVATAR can effectively partner with existing security teams amplifying the team’s ability to detect, assess and mitigate risks.
